Terms & Conditions of sale
Delivery is free of charge to anywhere within the UK, Ireland & Republic of Ireland on the purchase of the Air Purifier and this includes other items purchased at the same time. However, shipping charges will apply on the purchase of filters, replacement parts etc shipped outside mainland UK if purchased separately from the Air Purifier. If you are purchasing more than one replacement filter or multiple items please call 01225 436236 or email us for shipping costs.
On receipt please inspect the goods carefully for damage as AirControl Systems is unable to accept responsibility for damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of products unless the customer advises AirControl Systems of such within two working days from the date of delivery.
When you place your order you must notify AirControl Systems of any special delivery instructions that are required.
Please ensure that adequate facilities are available at the place of delivery in order that the delivery driver can carry out prompt and safe unloading.
Deliveries are made by a driver only and therefore his responsibility is solely to offload at ground level. Prior to receiving your goods you will be notified of a delivery day. Standard delivery is normally any time during a normal working day. However we can provide a timed delivery at additional cost and this can be advised at the time of purchase.
Deliveries are made directly by our distributors on a next working day basis (UK mainland only) for orders received prior to 1pm on a normal working day.
Taxes or Duty
Goods shipped to non EU countries may be subject to local taxes and that will be the responsibility of the buyer.
AirControl Systems is not responsible for the installation of any product.
Availability of Goods
All orders are subject to product availability. If the product you have ordered is not available from stock, you will be contacted by e-mail or telephone and will have the option either to wait until the item is available or to cancel your order.
Following The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations, we will accept items back even if you have opened the goods to inspect them. You are entitled to a refund as long as you inform us of your decision to cancel within 14 working days from the day after delivery of the goods (not applicable to Business customers or purchases made outside of the UK. You can examine the goods as you would in a shop but to obtain a full refund you must not start using them or install them. The goods must be in an ‘as new’ condition and returned in the original, undamaged packaging.
If you wish to return item(s) within 14 working days of delivery, you may do so at your cost providing the item(s) are unused and in their original packaging complete with all documentation, labels, tabs, protective wrapper, plug protector etc and in a condition suitable for re-sale). Cancellation must be in the form of an e-mail . We will then issue instructions on how you should return the goods. Do not mark the original packaging in any way by using masking tape, brown packaging tape or or similar. Do not write on the packaging. Clear tape should be used to seal the top of the carton.
Faulty Goods.Please call 01225 436236 and we will arrange a collection of any damaged or defective goods. We will pay for defective/damaged returns but should you simply not like the item and wish to return it there will be a handling charge applicable and this cost is available upon request depending on the item to be returned. Alternatively you can return the item yourself which must be returned in an unused condition with the original packaging, together with a valid receipt or other proof of purchase.
After contacting us to confirm you wish to cancel the contract, please package the item securely and send it to us with the delivery slip so that we receive it within fourteen working days of the date that the item was delivered to you. It is your responsibility to ensure that returned goods including packaging reach us in a re-saleable condition.
We suggest that you take out carrier insurance in case in the event that the goods do not arrive in re-saleable condition no refund will be made.
Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. Once the goods have been returned and verified to be in an unused condition, your credit card will be credited for the purchase price less any return shipping costs we have incurred. This depends on the weight and size of the goods ordered and in most cases will be higher than the delivery cost charged on the order.
Warranty Issues - The manufacturer Daikin UK may offer free inspection and repair for all products that develop a fault, not caused by accident, misuse or neglect, within the manufacturers guarantee period. If no fault is found upon inspection a charge will be made for the collection, return and for the inspection of the goods. These cost will be made available at the time of any potential warranty claim.
Prices & Payment
All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
Unless otherwise stated the goods shall not become the property of the buyer until the purchase price of the goods has been paid in full. All prices and products quoted are subject to alteration or withdrawal from time to time without notice.
Guarantee and warranties
You must acknowledge that AirControl is not the manufacturer of the Goods. We will however endeavour to transfer to you the benefit of any warranty or guarantee given by the manufacturer of the goods.
UK & Ireland Warranty
All Daikin Air Purifiers are covered under a 3-year parts & labour warranty within the UK & Ireland. Should you have a problem with a machine during the warranty period then in the first instance please contact AirControl Systems by telephone or email. During the warranty period it will be the customers responsibility to return the item either in its original carton or in a secure carton with adequate protection suitable for safe transportation to us and back to you. It should be insured against loss or damage. The replacement or repaired item will be dispatched to you at our cost.The manufacturer shall be responsible for honouring this warranty.
You may order products displayed on this web site using the on-line system or by telephoning AirControl Systems.
If AirControl Systems is unable to supply a particular item which you have ordered or if the correct price for an item is different from the price on your order, we will notify you as soon as we can after receiving your order. If this happens, you may cancel your order and we will refund you any money which you have paid.
You can pay by most major credit / debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, PayPal by using the SagePay secure payment systems. At this current time we do not accept American Express card payments.You may also pay by bank transfer and our bank details can be sent to you on request. Unfortunately cheques are no longer accepted.
AirControl Systems will debit money from your account within one working day after it has received your order.
AirControl Systems cannot guarantee delivery times but it aims to deliver within the advised specified when placing your order.
If the goods are not delivered within the specified delivery time then please contact us by telephone or e-mail.
All copyright, design rights and all other intellectual property rights in and to this Web Site and its content belong to AirControl Systems and our suppliers and any use of such rights is solely on the basis of these terms and conditions.
This contract shall be construed in accordance with English law. None of these conditions effect your statutory rights.
